A portrait of Aftyn in a cute, pink kitten outfit, done at the request of an avowed fan of her ear licking videos. This is my first painting after a week of just sketching, and I think it turned out great. During that week, I was developing a better eye for converting a reference to a sketch, and I think the likeness is spot on. I also watching an inspiring instructional video from Haze Long about using shapes to build a portrait, and that guided my approach to this. This is my closest to photo real yet. That mitten on the left of the frame is a knockout.
