Sketch portrait of Aftyn‘s Water Spirit, one of the Elemental friends. You’d think the simplicity of the pose would make it easier to do, but the opposite turned out to be true. I struggled to find landmarks and couldn’t get the sketch to settle on something that looked like her. In the end, I gave up. Water Spirit is the only one of this set I traced (hence no process video). Even so, I still have misgivings about the likeness. I’m not really sure why this one was so hard.
