Following that 10 day Fresh Eyes figure drawing class, I wanted to keep going with the practice. Kenzo has posted over 100 reference images of models in carefully chosen poses on the Love Life Drawning community website. I decided I would try to do quick-ish (less than 2 hour) paints of as many as I could stand, on the theory that all that practice will make me better at it. I’m not going for detail here. Simplification is the name of this game. I need a lot of practice at that skill.
I’ve started off with the clothed set with Christy, who is apparently a martial artist as well as a model. He strikes some fascinating poses.
