Shoulders month continues with us now expanding into some figure drawing, either full figures as with the above set, or bits and pieces as you’ll see below. I’m pretty happy with all of them, to be honest. I feel like I’ve loosened up my line a bit which has allowed me to make more organic looking outlines. In the above set, you can see my confidence with the tool growing as I went, particularly in the bottom row. This is all done using the Sinnix dry brush tool, which is like drawing with the wide edge of a chisel-tip marker. I don’t know why that has helped so much, but it has. In the first pose you can see I tried shading, decided it didn’t work and backed off it, but looking below you’ll see I get the hang of it eventually.
I did a lot of drawing this week, at least for me. I’m really trying to put in the work.
