Quick painting of Phoebe Waller-Bridge, creator of Fleabag and a bunch of other brilliant television properties. I fell in love with the slightly worried look she projected in the picture.
I did this at the end of a week of practice sketches, none of which is good enough to share. I wanted to have something to show for my time, though. I experimented here with some softer brushes, and leaving more of the line work intact. It’s ok, but I think my approach needs refinement.
