Day 6 poses

The second week of the Fresh Eyes Challenge took us out of the 2D realm and into the third dimension! Kenzo picked poses designed to emphasize foreshortening and rotations of body parts. In the exercises, we were to mark out the rotations using cross contour lines, the circles around the centers of the forms. I’ve experimented with cross contour lines before, but this was the first time I felt like I had a handle on them. I’m afraid my brain misfired on the foreshortening of 6.3 there, and I seriously shortened his legs.
