Dynamic pose 25

I finally got to the end of the dynamic pose set from Love Life Drawing. Well, the end of the unclothed dynamic pose set. There’s a clothed set as well, mercifully smaller than the 25 in this set, but I figured I’d try a different library for a follow up. I’ve been working on sketching and ink shading a bunch this week, so there will be lots of that.

For Catherine, above, I really felt like my previous outing was a let-down. But this time around, I feel like I captured something of her beauty. I’m pleased with that drawing, even if the shading is sketchy.

For some reason, I tend to get more experimental with the colors when it comes to Priss. Just 2 values here — I didn’t chicken out this time. Does it work? Eh…
Low angle pose 1
First of the low-angle poses, featuring Carole. I like her face, and I did a decent job on the sketch here. My torso and head were a bit too narrow. Tapering with distance is a struggle still.
Low angle pose 2
Carole seated. I made a complete hash of the leg proportions on this one.
Low angle pose 3
Carole in profile. Also, me learning that the Procreate pencil tools don’t work much like real pencils. When you go over these lines multiple times, they don’t keep getting darker! I rushed through the shading on this and it shows.
