This is a charcoal portrait of model Aiyana A Lewis. I’ll be honest, I don’t know a thing about her. About a year ago I did a little push to improve my hair drawing skills. I collected references for that just by searching for “interesting hair style” on Pinterest. Her picture is one of those, but it didn’t come with any kind of identifying information. I just found out who it was tonight, after the fact, by doing a reverse image search on the reference.
I thought her curly hair would pose a challenge, and it did. But I think this is a nice looking portrait. So, uh, yeah. Here’s a pretty lady with some cool-looking hair.
