Boobs challenge 6

The challenge continues! In part 6 of 10, I went for a more fully painted rendering style. Do I like it? Um, it’s complicated. Some of these look quite good — I’m particularly happy with the fabric folds in the dress on the lady in the middle. But I also found myself getting restless with the amount of time each took. I was taking shortcuts. This set went slowly! I really do need to be moving faster than this, so I’m planning to go back to simpler shaded sketches for the rest.

One quirk that made me laugh. I’ve been cloning an earlier page as the start for each new set. Without a concrete grid, I keep overshooting the starting size, so when it gets full, I adjust the canvas size to accommodate all the drawings. Result: each page is bigger than the last one. More pixels. On this set, I bumped into the RAM limit on my iPad. I saw operations getting slow, without realizing what was going on. Then it hit the ceiling: I could add no more layers. I shrunk the page to fix it. I’ll keep an eye on that going ahead.
